Trampolines and Dodgeball: What a Combination! For our meeting this week, we chose to have an activity. More specifically, a sport that mixes jumping around on trampoline pads until you can't stand up straight, and whizzing foam balls at people. When you combine these two fun things, you get: TRAMPOLINE DODGEBALL! We went to Lazer Kraze to partake in this wacky thing. When we got there, we all put on special trampoline shoes and headed for the room marked 'Zero Gravity Training.' After that, we were divided into two groups. One group played for the first half-hour, and the other played for the second half-hour. Though the half-hour seemed more like five minutes, we had a lot of fun. Sam W. looked like he was having a great time jumping around on the trampolines. It was thirty minutes of jumping, throwing, and falling over unexpectedly. A Time to Climb

A Time to Climb For our February campout, we went with a camp-in. The Troop stayed overnight at Climb Time (in Blue Ash). As soon as we went in, those who had never been there were amazed. It was a warehouse building lined with climbing walls of all kinds. Around the edges were high walls for which we had to have harnesses and ropes. In the middle, there were bouldering walls that did not require harnesses. They were shorter and had comfy mats below them. Everyone knew that it was going to be a good time. For the first four hours, five of the Eagles worked on the Climbing Merit Badge- all of which completed it. Meanwhile, other chaos was stirring. People were climbing, playing ping-pong, setting up their sleeping areas (Yes, that was chaotic, too) and doing everything else imaginable.
